Five Point Vet Services at 3528 Pennsylvania 981, Saltsburg, Pennsylvania.

I had a very bad experience with 5 points Vet services. I will never take another pet to this practice. Dr. Heinnickel was very rude and unprofessional, unsypathetic on methods and medicines to use on my dog that was being treated for Lymes Disease. I had tryed to have the staff, 2 days after my dog was prescribed Doxycycline to treat Lymes to switch the antibiotic to something not so harsh for my Bishon Frise that was 6 years old, because he was allergic to it. The staff was also of no help. They wanted me to wait a weekend out with my poor dog allergic to the antibiotic prescibed, to suffer more days, instead of offering Amoxicillin right then and there to start to help fight off the Lymes disease. So a total of 7 days later the day after I scheduled another $$$ office visit they finally switched his antibiotic for my suffering dog, which by then was too late and my dog Spanky died the very next day. I am infuriated with this clinic and the way they handled everything for my dog in his time of need. Now my 4 daughters and I are without a member of our family because of the poor methods and steps they chose to take for my dog. A simple change of antibiotic early in the stages in the beginning could have saved my dog but, my knowledge on what "my" dog was going threw was not matching there text book answers and they thought they new more about "my" dog then I did. So in the end my family lost our family member due to this staff and vet neglecting to address my requests in a timely manner.
